Deposit Insurance
At Pilgrim Bank your deposits are insured in full. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insures your Savings, NOW Checking, Money Market Deposit accounts, IRA's, and Certificates of Deposit up to $250,000 until December 31, 2009, when it will revert to $100,000. ("Self-Directed" IRA's will continue to be covered up to $250,000.) The Share Insurance Fund of Massachusetts (SIF) insures deposits above that level. There are no maximum account limitations or amount limitations.
